Popsicle Bridges

In this exciting workshop your child can learn about engineering principles and put their creativity to the test by building a popsicle bridge!

Using only popsicle sticks and tape, your child will design and build a bridge that needs to support the weight of a sphero driving across it. They'll have the chance to learn about structural engineering, forces, and loads while also using their imagination to create a unique and impressive bridge.

We'll provide guidance on the basics of bridge building, including how to create sturdy support structures and connect popsicle sticks for maximum strength. Your child will learn how to think critically and creatively as they design and construct their bridge.

At the end of the workshop, we'll test the bridges to see if they can withstand the weight of a sphero driving across them. Your child will have the chance to demonstrate their engineering skills and see how their bridge holds up under pressure.

Not only will your child have fun building their bridge, but they'll also develop valuable problem-solving skills and a deeper understanding of the principles of engineering. They'll leave the workshop feeling proud of what they've accomplished and with a newfound appreciation for the world of engineering.

So come join us for a fun and challenging workshop that's sure to be a hit with your child! Space is limited. We can't wait to see what kind of bridge your child will create!
