Thanks to the Regional Arts Development Fund and the Herberton Pocket Film Festival, we're doing free stop motion workshops in August and September all over the Tablelands.
Ravenshoe, Atherton and Malanda
Our first 3 workshops are for kids to pair up, learn about stop motion, and work together to make a story about life on the Tablelands.
These workshops are great for beginners. Kids will learn how to solve problems, work in teams, and have lots of fun.
Ravenshoe and Atherton workshops starts at 9:30am and ends at 12:30pm while the Malanda workshops starts at 10:30am and ends at 1:30pm. All workshops include a little time for a snack break.
Herberton
Our final workshop in Herberton is a green screen stop motion workshop where participants will work in groups of 4 and feature themselves in their movie, designing large props, sets and digital backdrops, adding sound and special effects.
The Herberton workshop starts at 10:30am and ends at 2:30pm with a lunch break.
All participants are required to register to attend a workshop.
