On a brisk morning, the kids at Ravenshoe embraced creativity at our stop motion workshop. Held at the Mountain Training Institute, the event aimed to introduce children to the world of stop motion animation while nurturing inventive thinking.
Kicking off at 9:30am, workshop participants started with the basics, learning animation techniques, frame editing and story design using a narrative arc and story boarding. Using all sorts of materials, toys and props, their characters sprang to life like magic. And just like that, it was lunch time and the end of the workshop!
Fun was had be everyone and it is always amazing to see the final videos and inspiring ideas by all.
Thanks to Arts Queensland, Tablelands Regional Council, Regional Arts Development Fund and the Herberton Pocket Film Festival for making this all happen.
