We were excited to be invited to run a special stop motion workshop at Kairi State School today. It was an amazing experience where we got to see the incredible creativity and storytelling skills of the Year 5/6 students. We had so much fun working together and using our imaginations to bring their stories to life.
During the workshop, we learned the basics of stop motion animation. We used storyboards to plan our animations and designed exciting stories that would capture everyone's attention. It was really cool to see how the students brought their ideas to life.
We worked in pairs and faced some challenges along the way. Figuring out the right sequence of frames, getting the lighting just right, and moving the characters and props took some problem-solving. But they didn't give up! With a lot of patience and attention, they created some amazing animations in a short amount of time.
We were truly inspired by the students' enthusiasm and creativity.
The stop motion workshop at Kairi State School was a super fun and special event, and we are grateful for the invitation to be a part of it. The students showed incredible talent and imagination as they worked together, solved problems, and made their stories come alive.
